Think you know what it means to be a Dean? Think again.

Buckinghamshire New University are creating something different. Something bold. Something that challenges the expectations of what a university can be. They are building a College of Health & Society that isn’t just about education, it’s about impact. With over 3,200 students and 150 staff, this new College brings together the clinical and social sides of health, uniting Nursing & Midwifery, Allied Health Professions, Psychology, Social Sciences, Sports Science, Education, and Early Years.

The ambition? To redefine health education and drive real-world change. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. This is a role for a leader who thrives on innovation, autonomy, and making things happen. BNU are giving their new Dean full ownership; over budgets, strategy, and the future direction of a College that will be mission-driven and uniquely positioned in the sector.

Are you the person who will bring people together and unlock the true potential of interdisciplinary collaboration? Do you have the vision to build powerful partnerships with the NHS, social care, and industry? Can you inspire students, develop colleagues, and drive outstanding outcomes across teaching, research, and graduate employment? BNU is a university on the rise. They are financially strong, student-centred, and unapologetically ambitious. Led by their newly-appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Damien Page, BNU are pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional results, with equity and inclusivity interwoven through everything they do.

We’re looking for a Dean who shares BNU's values and vision. Someone with the strategic mindset to lead at an institutional level. Someone with the drive to make a difference. Above all, we want a leader who is obsessed with people and passionate about progress. This is your opportunity to shape the future of health education at a university that refuses to stand still. No safe bets. No half-measures.

If you have the ambition and courage to lead, then we want to hear from you.

Being you at BNU. Let’s build the future together. Our search process, just like our institution and this extraordinary role, breaks the mould. To find out more about this unique opportunity, contact me directly and please watch the conversation here: https://lnkd.in/d2yFXMmv
